There are many training routines for triathletes to focus on improving technique for swimming, running and cycling. However, Trilates is a fusion of pilates and yoga specific exercises developed by a physiotherapist to focus on muscle imbalances which limit performance or risk injury for triathletes. The Trilates DVD is a 180 minute programme divided into 2 levels:

45 minute integrated Trilates Routine with 3 segments:
- Yoga warm-up
- Pilates core strength
- Yoga stretch

90 minute Advanced Series with three 30 minute segments:
- Swimming
- Cycling
- Running
|
The yoga postures work to stretch and strengthen the specific muscles used for swimming training, cycling training, and running training. The pilates strengthens both the core and the small stabilizing muscles important for decreasing injury and reducing fatigue.
We are currently running triathlon training sessions and retreats in Verbier. Email us for more information. Coaches are welcome to bring their triathlete clubs to triathlon train in our beautiful mountain destination – great for altitude training!
